Kaori Kurihara, have a look, her stunning work.

Kaori reinvents nature

The work of Japanese artist Kaori Kurihara leaves no one indifferent.

Kaori reinvents nature, especially fruits and vegetables.
Her ceramics, created in her workspace in Paris, are full of textures where she takes care of even the smallest details, the strength of color and space.

The artist studied pottery at SEIKA University in Kyoto in addition to jewelry making in France, where she learned enameling techniques. Kurihara studies the geometric repetition found in edible botanicals and reproduces their repeating patterns in similar ceramic form.

We are a London-based independent publication focusing on women working across cultures in art, design, and literature. Each issue explores creative identity through long-form interviews and visual storytelling
